Mission

The Laboratory Mission:

Among the short-term objectives set by the LMS and which make it possible to contribute actively to the development of the university of May 8, 1945 - Guelma and the companies of the surrounding region:

► Train specialized researchers in post-graduation training, especially in doctoral schools;

►Enable research topics directly related to different sectors of the region

►Participate in the improvement of company executives through the opening of specialized post-graduation

►Participate in national research programs (PNR and CNEPRU);

►Develop contacts with foreign laboratories as part of the development of our researchers and the training of PhD students;

►Publish in internationally renowned journals.

The research topics currently being developed at the LMS are:

►Mechanical behavior of materials and their applications in the industrial field;

►Elaboration of composite materials;

►Vibrillation analysis of structures;

►Inverse problems and fault diagnosis of rotating machines;

►Study of the physico-mechanical phenomena of metal cutting;

►Study of elastoplastic behavior of metallic materials;

►Study of dynamic behavior of fluid bearings of rotating machines;

►Study of elastoplastic behavior of metallic materials;

►Study of elasto-hydro-dynamic lubrication of mechanical systems
