The Laboratory of Mechanics and Structures (LMS) is one of the 24 research laboratories of the University May 8, 1945  Guelma, created by Ministerial Decree No. 162 of February 5, 2001. The activities of the LMS are led by four (04 ) teams composed of 25 permanent researchers dedicated to the research and training of about 20 PhD students.

The variety of research conducted by our researchers is largely carried out in collaboration with many foreign researchers belonging to internationally renowned laboratories. The result of this research is at the service of our country while providing for competition on current issues at the international level
